Fire officials have confirmed that a young child, likely around three-years-old, and a woman in her fifties were the two victims in the crash on Celeste Road.
Investigators have not released the names of the victims, pending notification of next of kin.
Two other victims involved were sent to the hospital with injuries. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
Turnerville Fire Chief Billy Smith said two cars were traveling in opposite directions when one vehicle crossed lanes causing the crash. Another driver also crashed into the wreckage.
Officials say both people who were killed were in the same vehicle.
Celeste Road has reopened following a fatal accident on Wednesday afternoon in Turnerville.
The wreck happened at Celeste Road and Henry Davis Road in front of the Turnerville Fire Station. At least one vehicle was seen in a ditch off the side of the road.
