1.5 million bicycles sold in the U.S., Canada and Mexico are being recalled. An open quick release lever on the front wheel hub of the bicycle can come into contact with the front disc brake. That could cause the front wheel to suddenly stop or separate. Thirteen manufacturers are involved. Three incidents have been reported. One person was hurt.
The recall involves bicycles sold by 13 manufacturers. The bicycles were sold from 1998-2015 for between $200 and $10,000.
