ROBERTSDALE, AL- Police officers are under attack across the nation.
Seven law enforcement officers have been murdered within the last 10 days. The deadly attacks have state, county and local police agencies concerned.
“We’re now using words like assassination and execution,” says Baldwin County Sheriff Hoss Mack. “I don’t think it’s a race issue, it’s a culture issue. There’s a culture out there that’s manifesting itself, an anti-government, anti law enforcement and it’s very disturbing.”
“We need the good citizens of the United States to stand beside us, we’re not asking anybody to stand in front of us, because we do that for you,” says Silverhill Police Chief Kim Wasdin.
In the 83 line of duty deaths this year, 24 officers were shot and killed.
