Mobile Police have arrested a 71-year-old man for making a pair of bomb threats at two high schools in Mobile County this week.
According to a release, Wilford Tracy, 71, of Mobile was taken into custody by Mobile Police. He is charged with Making a Terrorist Threat.
Investigators have confirmed Tracy is accused of the bomb threats made to Davidson and Murphy High Schools on Monday.
Students and staff were evacuated and the schools were checked but nothing was found. The students were then allowed to return to class.
Tracy was arrested in 2009 for an alleged robbery at an Army Aviation Credit Union, but he wasn’t prosecuted.

Police had described the suspect as a “man in his 50’s or 60’s, driving a newer model Ford Focus.” Police also said he may have a speech impediment.
