BAY MINETTE, AL – Police impersonators are pulling women over in Baldwin County.

The first incident happened Friday when a man in a white Chevy Suburban tried to pull a woman over on Wilcox Road.

The woman called 911 and didn’t stop. She told deputies the lights in the dash of the SUV looked strange and were flashing red, white and blue.

The second report happened Sunday on Highway 90 in the Seminole community and is much more frightening.

A woman told investigators a man driving a late-model red Ford car with a single, flashing blue light on the top of the car pulled her over near the Dollar General.

The woman says the man was wearing a tan uniform, a gun belt and displayed a badge. The man told the woman her license and insurance were expired and that she needed to get out of the car and was under arrest.

The woman says she asked to speak to the man’s supervisor. The man got in his car and drove off.

Both cases are still under investigation.
