“Everybody can I have your attention real quick. We don’t know what’s going on, but, we will pray. We know that prayer is powerful, and that God is able”, said Christian Crawford. He took the microphone during his Clay-Chalkville High School graduation after a woman collapsed in the stands during a medical emergency.
“We pray right now that whatever is going on that you will fix it. God, we pray that you will heal it God and we pray that you will redeem it God. We pray that you will deliver it God because we know that you are a God who knows how to make a way”.
Crawford later talked about his spontaneous prayer on YouTube where it received hundreds of thousands of views, something he never expected.
“I walked up there. I wasn’t nervous or anything..I just walked up there and said Lord Let your will be done”, said Crawford.
A state lawmaker from Trussville says Crawford is interested in politics, and he looks forward to introducing him to state government.
