The former manager of the Fayette County, Alabama Water Works is accused of using a company credit card at strip clubs and to buy women’s clothing.
The Fayette County District Attorney has charged 54-year old Scotty Allen Moore with 34 counts, including using his position for personal gain, fraud and theft.
According to the indictment, Moore spent more than $2,500 at strip clubs in Birmingham, Dothan and New Orleans.
He’s also accused of spending more than $2,500 on a variety of women’s clothing, including lingerie.
Moore retired from the Water Board in March of last year. He had been working there for the past 17 years.
Moore was arrested and later released after posting a $180,000 bond.
