Bananas Foster Bread Pudding (Image 1)

 Bananas Foster Base

3 Bananas peeled, chopped

2 oz butter

2/3 c brown sugar

3 ½ T Dark Rum

1 ½ t Vanilla

1 ½ t Cinnamon

Bread Pudding Base

 ½ loaf of bread

4 c milk

7.5 oz sugar

7 eggs

¼ t vanilla

Baking Procedure:

Melt butter in skillet. Stir in remaining ingredients except for the bananas.

Heat mixture until it begins to bubble, toss in bananas. Cook to desired consistency. Pour over ½ loaf of the bread diced.

Toss in Bananas Foster. Bake at 300 degrees approximately 20 minutes or until firm.

Rum Sauce

2 c cream

2 c milk – heat

½ c cornstarch – thicken/ make slurry

To taste, sugar, rum, pinch of salt


Heat milk, sugar, vanilla/ temper into eggs.
